Silver Wreath

It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge this week & we’re headed to a lovely site that also has an awesome Pinterest Board..Mackenzie-Childs. For my card, I was inspired by THIS wreath.
I really loved the gorgeous wreath so I went for a totally silver & white combo. I wanted a bigger wreath circle than the one in the wreath set, so I used a couple of circle dies for my wreath base. I die cut all the ‘greenery’ & sm. snowflake out of metallic silver &/or silver glitter papers. The poinsettias were die cut out of white glitter paper & the 3 little cardinals out of silver mirror paper. I used some thin silver cord to twine around the wreath & made a loopy bow for the top of the wreath. The greeting is from a large frame greeting, but I didn’t ink the frame part. Since my wreath is good size, the card is also. It measures 6.5 x 5 so it fits in an A7 envelope. The white bg also is larger than the A2 sized rectangle die so I had to use my die resizing/extending technique to make it larger. I thought the sides looked a little bare so I added a couple of strips of silver mirror paper to each side.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
